Our Young People Making The World A Better Place One Step At A Time

“One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”.

We all know this phrase, whether we had grandparents telling us the time they saw Neil Armstrong on TV taking the first steps on the moon or learning about the moon landing in school. As this was a proud moment for the world, and seen by millions, Adecyn Homes is also proud to showcase the small steps all our young people take towards making the world a better place.

Adecyn Homes believes each child and young person, learns a different way. Some learn and understands by reading and theory, some enjoy a more hands on approach practical approach to learning. So, sit back, grab a cuppa, and let’s start the story.

There was once a highly motivated young people, with a hungry to learn about the world and different cultures. In their free time they enjoyed Japanese anime, due to the vibrant colours and characters and the way they spoke Japanese so elegantly. (Sidenote, we as adults are never too old to watch some Japanese amine or cartoons, Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the ones for me. What is yours? Sorry back to our young person…now shush no talking please). One day, a challenge was thrown down by Adecyn Homes’ adult. Who can make the best montage? Fair to say this was no challenge for our young person. Their skills in craftsmanship was unmatched. Creating a montage with all the favourite anime stars.

However, the story doesn’t end there. With Ramadan fast approaching, the young person had an amazing idea. Sharing the light of Ramadan, with the neighbours. Brilliant idea the adult thought. Off they went, making cards and gift bags to spread some happiness and light during these dark times. Feedback was excellent as all the neighbours accepted the gifts with a smile on their face. But wait, there’s more. For you see, our young person wanted to raise further awareness. The topic. Autism. A topic that touches the heart of some many people and has affect so many more. But nothing cannot sum it up any better that our young person’s handmade t-shirt:

“All people are people whether or not they have learning difficulties”

We are proud to have such gifted and talented child and young people, who want to make the world a better place. So, pleased to see and hear about the work. Keep it up. Adecyn Homes salutes you.
