Apply For Our Children’s Senior Care Practitioner Position Within Adecyn Homes

Adecyn Homes is a family orientated company who are looking to recruit for a Children’s Senior Care Practitioner for our therapeutic home.

We initially started off as foster carers in 2004 and during a decade of fostering, we have seen faults in the existing care system where the wellbeing of children and young people was not prioritised.

We are looking for seniors who can provide leadership, support and direction for their home and follow through with the Company’s ethos. If you have a passion for working with children who have not had the easiest start in life, then please join us in making that positive change. Our aspirations for our children are high in all aspects of their lives, and we aim to provide a homely environment where children feel safe, loved, and nurtured.

We specialises in working with Children and Young People aged 8-18 years. The children and young people have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and as a result have emotional, behavioural difficulties.

  • To set up, co-ordinate and review the children’s files, Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Missing from Home Documentation/Physical Description document Agreements and Incentives
  • To contribute to Educational Meetings
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of all the children, staff and visitors on your shift, and to ensure that any hazards are reported immediately in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act
